Now, we are convinced at Noahs that 'North Kensington' was a term that was created by the Estate Agents of yesteryear. You can ask a whole host of people as to its exact whereabouts and boundary lines but you will not get the same answer twice. Some even refer to the area as the Nappy Valley of Notting Hill, making reference to its ever increasing population of affluent young families and kiddo's. Although we love that the area is always changing, we think calling it Nappy Valley isn't quite right as that seems to detract from the diversity of the area. For clarity we believe North Kensington to be 'the area slightly north of Notting Hill, towards Ladbroke Grove, but maybe not as far and Kensal Green', we are happy to be corrected if you feel different!
Whatever the official boundary and/or demographic make up, we love it. Everything from the people, the buildings and the antiques market on Golborne Road have a story to tell. You will never be bored living in this part of town. It's vibrant, its happening, and even if you can't name them, you know a great many artists, actors and musicians came from this part of London.
